When agreeing to attend a course of training with NMI you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. NAMES: ‘NMI' refers to NMI Consulting and it's instructors, staff and or sub-contracted persons. ‘Client' refers to persons named when a course is booked. NMI reserves the right to decide how, when and if a course should be run. A course will be considered secure when NMI has received a booking and any agreed deposits / full payments. 

COURSE CANCELATION

If NMI is unable to supply a suitable alternative, or the client(s) is not able to accept an alternative booking, NMI will refund any deposit, or course fee paid less any agreed costs associated with cancellation. (i.e.Yacht Charter)

 
 

DAMAGE

Clients are liable to pay in full or a stipulated insurance cost associated with the item involved i.e. yacht, other yachts, waterproofs, cups etc. It remains a NMI tuition policy to not become a over protective safety net for clients learning the risks and due diligence of sailing. We will, off course do everything reasonable to create a safe environment for your learning but we cannot remove all risks.

 
 

RYA Accredited Training Centres

  • 1. Yachts - Top quality well maintained yachts (Oceanis 37) or (Bavaria 37) typically. Coded to MCA requirements of safety (Cat 2 & Cat 3) and matched to suit your group size and to meet the guidelines of relevant training authority RYA etc.

We guarantee that our instructors will blend learning and entertainment in a highly professional manner to best suit your learning needs.

Bring your friends, family children and make a course into a holiday. You get; Boat/Wet gear/Instructor/Certification. And choose who you want to have on board with you, what and where you eat.!

High Season (May to September) £2095.00

Mid Season (October & April) £1749.00

Low Season (November to March) £1549.00

Prices includes VAT, yacht, Instructor, accommodation onboard, wet gear, certification & berthing at home port

 
 

OWN BOAT TUITION

i) Tuition may only be undertaken on vessel owned/properly insured by the person attending the course. Vessel must be safe and seaworthy (see RYA Boat Safety Handbook C8)

ii) Owner remains skipper/legally responsible for safe operation of vessels including when under tuition.

iii) Owner should notify insurer of vessels use for training to take place.

 
 

TECHNOLOGY

Plotters, radar, depth etc. Please discuss your learning / technology requirements so that we can better contextualise your course. Using relevant applications / equipment where possible.
 
 

CHILDREN

NMI welcomes and encourages children to attempt courses building knowledge and experience. Due consideration should be given to the role of leadership and personal management however. Please refer to group size and cost for each course for age limitation advice. Typically 16+ may be unaccompanied. Children younger than this must be accompanied by a parent / guardian with courses taking place on a private charter basis.

 
 

COURSE CANCELATION

i) If more than four weeks notice is given, the course fee and any associated costs will be refunded less a £25.00 administration charge. Between two and four weeks notice: the full cost of a course may be charged unless the course can be resold, a £25.00 administration charge still being charged.

ii) Less than two weeks notice: The Full cost of a course will be charged.

iii) Rescheduling the course date, NMI will do our best to accommodate changes at no further charge. This is will depend upon the amount of notice given and our ability to resell booked time.

 
 

INSURANCE

However NMI cannot accept responsibility for theft, loss or damage of client's personal property, nor can it accept responsibility for death of or injury to clients. NMI advises clients to take out suitable personal insurance against damage or loss of personal effects, death and personal injury appropriate to the risks associated with sports activities such as sailing.
