This is a theory course providing a solid introduction to the habits, attitudes and skills required before taking a small boat to sea.

You will understand how to practically plan your passage and run the navigation elements of your boat using basic chart work with associated publications to allow informed decisions about where you are and where you're going.

Group Size and Costs

Up to 10 students to 1 instructor. 
Minimum Age: 16+ unaccompanied. 12+ if accompanied by a parent / guardian.

COST: Upon Application:  Budget £200.00 per person + VAT where applicable + Pocket money

 

Duration

1 weekend - starting at 8.30am finishing at 4.30pm each day with breaks whenever it suits.
or 5 evenings - starting at 19.00 - 21.00

This course may be delivered at any suitable venue; sailing club, school, village hall or private residence.
