Outline

This 2-day (weekend) practical course is designed for novice sailors who want to get a feel for sailing.  You will gain a sailing knowledge platform of; steering, handling ropes, hoisting sails and boat etiquette becoming a fully useful crew. This course also counts towards the RYA Competent Crew Certificate, (you only need to complete a further 3 days or 2 more weekends to achieve it)

This course may be combined with other courses; Day Skipper, Coastal Skipper

Food, drinks and general comfort represents a massive opportunity to make the whole sailing experience special. It is expected that all parties be involved. Read More

 

Group Size and Costs

Up to 5 students to 1 instructor per boat.
Minimum Age: 16+ unaccompanied. Children must be accompanied by a parent / guardian and course will take place on a private charter.

COST: Upon Application:  Budget £200.00 per person + Pocket money 

 

Duration

2 days - starting at 8.30am finishing at 4.30pm each day with breaks whenever it suits.
We will live on the yacht and partaking of shore facilities and hospitality by mutual agreement and wallet size.
